Day Plans
Your adventure begins with a warm welcome at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport. Our representative will meet you upon arrival and transfer you to your hotel. Today is reserved for you to recover from jet lag and settle in. If time permits, take a short stroll to see the local neighborhood or enjoy a traditional Bengali dinner at a nearby restaurant.
After a refreshing night's sleep and breakfast, we begin the journey toward Khagrachari. Depending on your package, you will transfer via Premium Sleeper Coach (Silver), private AC car (Gold), or luxury SUV (Diamond). As the flatlands give way to rolling hills, you will arrive in the serene district of Khagrachari, checking into your hotel to breathe in the fresh hill air.
Dive into the mysteries of Khagrachari today. We start with a visit to the Risang Waterfall, where water cascades down a rocky slope in a symphony of sound. Next, summon your courage for the Alutila Cave, a dark, natural tunnel that you’ll explore with a flaming torch in hand. We end the day at a hilltop viewpoint, watching the sun dip below the horizon.
Brace yourself for the most thrilling part of the trip—the ride to Sajek Valley. We hop into a "Chander Gari" (traditional open-air jeep) and wind our way up the steep mountain roads. Known as the "Queen of Hills," Sajek greets you with clouds that often float below eye level. Check into your premium resort and spend the evening watching the clouds drift by.
Wake up before dawn and hike up to Konglak Hill, the highest point in Sajek, to witness a sunrise that paints the sky in vivid oranges and pinks. The rest of the day is spent exploring local indigenous villages, where you can interact with the Lushai and Tripura communities. For dinner, enjoy a traditional feast of bamboo chicken and BBQ.
We bid farewell to the clouds of Sajek and descend back to Khagrachari before transferring to the lake city of Rangamati. The journey itself offers stunning vistas of green hills. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and unwind by the lakeside, letting the peaceful ambiance of the region wash over you.
Today is dedicated to the water. We embark on a boat cruise across the magnificent Kaptai Lake, the largest man-made lake in Bangladesh. Glide past the iconic Hanging Bridge and visit the Kaptai Dam. We also stop at the Tribal Cultural Institute to gain deeper insight into the rich heritage of the diverse indigenous groups that call this land home.
We drive deeper into the hills to Bandarban, a region of rugged beauty and the highest peaks in the country. Here, we visit the breathtaking Debotakhum and the Nilachal viewpoint, offering panoramic views of the horizon where the sky meets the hills.
Start the day with a visit to the Buddha Dhatu Jadi (Golden Temple), glistening atop a hill. We then travel to Nilgiri, a resort managed by the army that sits so high you can often touch the clouds. The day concludes with a serene boat tour on the Sangu River.
Enjoy a leisurely morning in Bandarban before we begin our journey back to Dhaka via your designated vehicle package. We celebrate the end of an epic journey with a farewell dinner in the capital before dropping you off at the Airport for your flight home.
