Day Plans
Your green getaway starts with a warm welcome at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport. We transfer you to your hotel where you can unwind and rest after your journey. The day is yours to relax or explore the local vicinity at your leisure.
After breakfast, we begin our journey to the northeast. Diamond guests will take a scenic 45-minute flight to Sylhet, while Gold and Silver guests will enjoy a countryside drive by private car or Premium Sleeper Coach. Upon arrival in Sylhet, check into your hotel and freshen up before visiting the spiritual shrine of Hazrat Shahjalal in the evening.
Prepare for stunning landscapes as we drive to Jaflong, located at the foot of the Khasi-Jaintia hills. We take a boat ride to the "Zero Point" border area, where crystal-clear water flows over a bed of multicolored stones. We also visit Sada Pathor (White Stones), a picturesque spot where the riverbed is filled with smooth white rocks.
Today we explore the Amazon of Bangladesh—Ratargul Swamp Forest. We board small country boats to navigate through the submerged forest, where trees grow directly out of the water. Later, we head to Lalakhal, famous for its striking turquoise river. A relaxing boat ride here offers some of the most photogenic views in the country.
We start the morning among the manicured rows of Sylhet’s tea gardens, watching the tea pickers at work. Then, we journey to Madhobkundo, home to the largest waterfall in Bangladesh. A short nature walk through the forest leads us to the thundering falls, where we can enjoy a picnic lunch.
We drive south to Sreemangal, the undisputed "Tea Capital" of Bangladesh. After checking in, we head straight to the famous Nilkantha Tea Cabin to taste the legendary 7-Layer Tea. The evening is spent relaxing in the serenity of a tea resort, surrounded by greenery.
Wake up to the sounds of the jungle and head to Lawachara National Park, a protected rainforest teeming with biodiversity. We trek through the forest trails, keeping an eye out for hoolock gibbons. Afterward, we visit indigenous villages of the Khasi and Monipuri tribes to learn about their unique matriarchal society.
Enjoy a final leisurely breakfast overlooking the tea estates. You have some free time to shop for fresh tea leaves before we return to Dhaka via flight or road. We arrive back in the capital and drop you off at the Airport for your onward journey.
